Fresh from the "you've gotta be kidding us" file, defamed and imprisoned football legend O.J. Simpson is supposedly tying the knot with a pen pal, of whom he has only seen a picture. For some reason, thin, blonde and young comes to mind. The 63-year-old is currently serving a 33-year sentence for stealing his stuff and multiple felonies. In addition to the recession, there must be a husband deficit as well. Why on earth would anyone want to marry O.J. Simpson? Can't be for money or status — or personal safety, for that matter. Perhaps fame? In the immortal words of Debbie Allen in Fame, "Well, fame costs," and the next Mrs. O.J. Simpson will pay the price in one way or another. Let's just hope this is one of those Internet hoaxes.
