Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place: Michael A. Green, who was wrongly convicted of a rape he did not commit and spent 27 years of his life behind bars, must now make a difficult decision. Exonerated by DNA evidence, Green can accept a $2.2 million compensation payment from the state of Texas or file a civil suit and expose how prosecutors railroaded him. If he takes the money, then he must waive his right to sue. Apparently the dilemma has disrupted Green's ability to sleep or settle his thoughts. It is truly sad when a man who suffered so much is still being made to suffer when he did nothing wrong. The arms of prison reach far beyond four walls.
