Hot97 Radio DJ Mister Cee Arrested Again

Popular radio DJ Mister Cee, of New York City's hip-hop station Hot97, was arrested by an undercover cop Saturday for allegedly attempting to pay for sex. According to the New York Post, the arrest took place in Brooklyn, N.Y., and involved a male officer.

The 46-year-old music producer allegedly asked for sex from a man of the night who was standing on the corner of Madison St. and Broadway in Bushwick minutes before midnight on Wednesday, sources said.

The acclaimed DJ was hauled into custody and released on his own recognizance, officials said.

Mister Cee, whose real name is Calvin Lebrun and who is credited with discovering the legendary rapper Notorious B.I.G., has been charged with for sex-related crimes before. In 2011, the DJ, who is reportedly married, pleaded guilty to lewd content after he was arrested for receiving oral sex from a man in a parked car and in 2010, for a similar incident. Ebro Darden, Hot 97's program director, tweeted Saturday, "The listeners are our family. We will address this with you an [sic] for you."
