Cops in riot gear with batons descended upon MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., Sunday evening as tens of thousands attended Hot 97 Summer Jam 2015, the annual concert in the New York City area sponsored by radio station Hot 97.

Sunday’s scheduled performances included Kendrick Lamar, Chris Brown, Trey Songz and Big Sean, but social media was rife with photos of people being pepper-sprayed and having Tasers used on them, as well as of fights breaking out. Included in the photos were helicopters patrolling the area.
