On CBS's Face the Nation, Hillary Clinton said she would not want to submit to an airport security pat-down.
"Everybody is trying to do the right thing," Clinton said. "I understand how difficult it is, and how offensive it must be for the people who are going through it."
On Meet the Press, newly elected Rep. Allen West said the Transportation Security Administration should have reached out to the American public before instituting the procedure. "It comes back to marketing. We should have put out some type of feelers and talked to the American people about this before we implemented this type of plan," West said.
