In a recent interview with Billboard to promote the City Girl’s newly released album R.A.W., Yung Miami let people know what they need to do to get a man like Diddy.

Yung Miami, born Caresha Brownlee, was first seen “dating” Diddy in 2021, although the couple went back and forth between defining what they were. When the pair were first seen together people believed that Miami wasn’t the Bad Boy Records founder’s ideal woman. However, she challenges that saying, “People say that I wasn’t Diddy type. But clearly, I am.” In April 2023, they confirmed that they were no longer together, but Diddy brought her along as his date for the Met Gala a month later.

When the interviewer asked Miami how to get the same romance,  she said, “So, I think that you just be yourself because people, they [men] gravitate towards real. Like, so many people try to be something that they not. You just got to be yourself. I’m just myself. I’m just that b***h and that’s how you just bag a n***a.”

Although fans are always confused about the status of Miami and Diddy’s relationship, the two don’t seem to be leaving each other’s side anytime soon. The couple was speculated to be together since 2021, but it wasn’t until June 2022 that Diddy confirmed their romance. He went on Miami’s hit podcast Caresha Please and simply said, “We date…We’re friends. We go to exotic locations. We have great times.” And that was enough of an explanation to half of the City Girls because they continued showing up for each other at award shows and other industry events.

Even through the constant questioning of the relationship, Miami always seems unbothered, adding that Diddy was always open and honest with her and that they mutually agreed to date each other and other people. When the “Bad Boy for Life” welcomed a baby girl, Love Sean Combs, in December 2022 with a then-unnamed woman, people immediately labeled Caresha as Diddy’s “side chick.” Rarely does Diddy respond to internet drama but he defended her by posting on X, “@yungmiami305 is not my side chick. Never has been, never will be. She’s very important and special to me, and I don’t play about my Shawty Wop.”
