First of all, let me start off by saying I don’t particularly care for Chris Brown.
His first album was a jam, and I think he is talented and an amazing dancer and has great potential—but he needs more people.
Saying he’s problematic is about the nicest way I can put it without getting in trouble with my editors and the Gizmodo legal team. He’s despicable.
That said, someone posted a link to this video earlier, and I watched it five times in a row.
The song is called “Freaky Friday,” and it’s all about Lil Dicky waking up one day to find out he’s switched bodies with Brown. He wakes up as Brown, and Brown wakes up as him.
I had never even heard of Lil Dicky, but the boy actually has some mic-handling skills. I was mildly impressed.
The funniest part about this song is Chris Brown’s singing. His voice singing from Dicky’s point of view, and Dicky’s voice rapping from Brown’s point of view, is some pretty good entertainment.
The long skit at the beginning in the Chinese restaurant is a snore, and I am not sure who decided to put that there, but once you get past it, the video is worth watching.
The bonus round is at the end with Kendall Jenner.
Everything is funny right now.
Take a look and tell me what you think.
Oh, and spare me your Chris Brown lectures. I already acknowledged that the boy is trash.
