His first outing with the Houston Rockets may have been less than stellar, but Carmelo Anthony’s other debut seems quite promising. Melo may be best known for his headbands, but the NBA star also loves a hat, as evidenced by his latest collaboration with hat makers Goorin Bros.

The second Carmelo Anthony x Goorin Bros. collaboration, following February’s “Fresh Greens” debut, is a seven-piece capsule collection inspired by wine. For this launch, which initially debuted with an event at New York Fashion Week in September as part of his series of Melo Made collaborations, Anthony, who is also a wine aficionado, “has blended his interest in fashion and viticulture to shape several bold flavors.

I’m a self-taught sommelier,” Anthony says on the collection’s blog. “I wanted to bring some of that refinement into this hat collection, with a focus on hues of red and named after my favorite wine grapes.”

Accordingly, each unisex style is on the red spectrum and named for a type of wine, from a pale pink wool felt Rosé to a flat-topped Burgundy (white wines didn’t make the cut this round). Each features a copper-leafed embossing of Anthony’s signature on the lining. The collection ranges from $200-$300 and is exclusively available online or at Goorin Bros.’ West Village location in New York City.

If you’re a Melo fan who admires his sartorial style as much as his style on the court, here’s a chance to get a taste of what’s on his palette. Other Melo Made projects include a September collab with Rag & Bone and Jordan Brand and upcoming drops with Rochambeau and Famous Nobodys.

“Melo Made is one of my biggest fashion projects,” Anthony said. “There were a few brands that were interested in creating capsule collections. I wanted to put it all together and create this moment.”
