On Tuesday, President Barack Obama turned 54 years old. Needless to say, there's a little more gray in his hair, and he's probably a little wiser since his first election, but there's one thing that hasn't changed, and that's his sense of humor.

President Obama has a knack for delivering jokes, and every year it's put on display at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner. This year the president was joined onstage with his anger translator, Luther (Keegan-Michael Key):

"Despite our differences, we count on our press to shed light on the most important issues of the day," Obama said.

"We can count on Fox News to terrify all white people with some nonsense," Key "translated."

Another moment when the president had a chance to put his comedic chops to work was during an appearance on Funny or Die's Between Two Ferns, with actor Zach Galifianakis.

Galifianakis got in a few jokes of his own, like teasing the president about diplomacy: "So how does this work, do you send Ambassador Rodman to North Korea on your behalf? I read somewhere that you'd be sending Hulk Hogan to Syria or is that more of a job for Tonya Harding?"

But the president then took a jab at the failure of The Hangover sequels and said that running for a third time would be similar to doing a third Hangover movie: "It didn't really work out very well, did it?"

Not all of the president’s funniest moments happen at funny times, however. During a press conference about nuclear arms in 2014, a heckler learned not to fool with the president.

"Mr. Obama!" yelled the heckler during the Democratic National Committee event. "Tell us about your nuclear plan in Russia!"

The president gave his best "WTF" face and replied, "I'm sorry, who is that back there? What the heck are you talking about?"

Last year President Obama had the chance to come face-to-face with his YouTube impersonator Iman Crosson, aka AlphaCat. Crosson has been impersonating the president for years, and needless to say hilarity ensued when Obama saw his younger doppelgänger.

"I used to look like you," Obama said of Crosson. "You're going to have to get some gray hair!"

As the 2016 elections gear up, it's only apropos to end with another highlight from a past White House Correspondents' Association Dinner speech, especially since Donald Trump was one of the ringleaders trying to prove that the president wasn't born in the U.S.

"Tonight for the first time," Obama said at the 2011 dinner, "I'm releasing my official birth video!"

And cue The Lion King's "Circle of Life" song.

President Obama did put out a disclaimer, for the likes of Trump and Fox News, that it was indeed a joke.

Happy birthday, President Obama. May you and your sense of humor never part—especially since, after two terms, you probably have even more jokes to make.
