Gucci Mane is not having a great year. Not only has he dropped almost everyone from his label, but now the veteran Atlanta rapper is being accused of some serious crimes by his ex-girlfriend, Mac Bre-Z.
On Monday, the former 1017 signee accused Gucci of domestic violence and theft. She also claimed that she was not properly credited or paid for her contributions to some of his songs.
In a post on Instagram, she wrote, “Mac Bre-z is The first artist you ever signed. You loved to mention me in your songs. You loved having me on your arm. You loved that I took the stand & defended you in court as your alibi to keep you outta of jail. & You loved collaborating with me on your albums & mixtapes. But I would love to get paid for my writing credits.”
She continued, “ They say you changed for the better. So Why haven’t you done the right thing & just compensate me for everything I’m entitled to? Everybody eating off these records but me. I never did a tell all & exposed any stories about your personal life over the 6yrs we were together.”
Mac later says that she could’ve “snitched” on Gucci when he allegedly. “punched her in the face,” but chose not to.
Mac’s Instagram page is filled with several allegations about the “Lemonade” rapper.” In another post, she accuses him of essentially stealing the idea for a song she was recording with Zaytoven, a well-known Atlanta producer, and later creating a music video for it.
The alleged “punch” that Mac was referring to was caught on video and it occurred during a live performance in 2005.
In the clip, Gucci is seen performing on stage. Gucci then starts to argue with Mac before he pushes her back. He then reaches over a person separating the two and punches her in the face.
Gucci has yet to publicly respond to the allegations.
