A CNN panel featuring Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) quickly went to hell after the GOP Karen repeatedly mispronounced Vice President Kamala Harris’s name.
Democratic strategist Keith Boykin and Vanderbilt University professor Michael Eric Dyson checked Mace on her alarming disrespect several times, to which the congresswoman replied, “I just did and I’ll do it again” and “I will say Kamala’s name any way that I want to.”
Mace is clearly taking a page out of Trump’s playbook by mocking Harris’s name. However, Dyson was swift and thorough with how he read Mace for complete filth.
“This congresswoman is a wonderful human being,” Dyson began. “But when you disrespect Kamala Harris by saying you will call her whatever you want, I know you don’t intend it to be that way, that’s the history and legacy of white disregard for the humanity of Black people.”
In typical Karen fashion, Mace immediately played the victim.
“Oh, so now you’re calling me a racist. That is B.S. That is complete B.S.” Mace claimed.
However, Dyson cleared the air as politely as possible: “I just said you weren’t a racist. No,” he retorted. “You don’t have to intend racism to accomplish it. Your disrespect of Kamala Harris is part and parcel of a tradition.”
Things continued to go off the rails when Boykin told Mace to admit that she was in a “cult” with her leader being Trump.
“The fact that you talk to women this way is ridiculous,” Mace told Boykin.
“You just talked about a Black woman that way,” Boykin replied.
“In what way? She doesn’t know what a woman is,” Mace said, before host Abby Phillip wrapped up the program.
Boykin tweeted about the interview Friday morning: “This is what the Republican Party has become,” he wrote.
