Using dark reds and deep oranges, George Zimmerman is painting his way back into the conversation as he is set to release another piece of original artwork. This time his muse is the special prosecutor who charged him with second-degree murder, the Associated Press reports via Yahoo News.
Zimmerman's brother, Robert Zimmerman Jr., posted the new painting on his Twitter account late Wednesday evening, saying that details about the sale would follow.
The painting, titled "Angie," depicts Northeast Florida State Attorney Angela Corey holding her thumb and fingers together. The text on the piece reads, "I have this much respect for the American judicial system," AP reports.
Zimmerman was acquitted in July 2013 for the 2012 shooting death of unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman's attorneys successfully argued that he shot Trayvon in self-defense.
