In 2015, when Gabby Douglas competed for the City of Jesolo Trophy in Jesolo, Italy, she came in fifth place. But what a difference a year makes.
With a score of 59.65, Douglas won her second all-around gold in 2016 at Jesolo, on the heels of her win at the AT&T American Cup two weeks ago.
Simone Biles, the three-time defending world and U.S. all-around champion, did not compete in Italy but is expected to compete at the Pacific Rim Championships in April.
