A Georgia couple who were seen on camera attacking a restaurant owner and her 15-year-old daughter over an apparent dispute involving cold chicken have turned themselves in to the Baxley, Ga., Police Department.

Nathaniel Smith and Latasha Smith surrendered to authorities at the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office before being transferred to the Appling County Jail, Fox 5 Atlanta reports.

The couple had outstanding warrants for aggravated battery and cruelty to children after an encounter with the restaurant owner of the Qwik Chick takeout stand off U.S. Highway 1.

Owner Jeanette Norris said that the couple ordered two meals but complained that their chicken was too cold and they didn’t get enough fries after receiving their orders.

Norris checked the food and reportedly refunded the couple their money, but then things apparently went far south when Latasha Smith flew into a rage and repeatedly punched and slapped Norris in the face. Norris’ 15-year-old daughter walked up to intervene and was punched in the face by Nathaniel Smith, authorities say. Norris suffered a broken nose in the attack, while her daughter sustained bruises and a concussion.
