Future has been on a huge promo spree for his upcoming album Dirty Sprite 2, but outside of talking a lot about his upcoming music, he’s also been spilling the beans about his relationship with ex-fiancee Ciara. Earlier this week, Future let the world know that although Ciara and he did have sex, they prayed afterward, a direct jab at the fact that Russell Wilson and the R&B singer are currently practicing abstinence.
On Thursday, in an interview with The Breakfast Club radio show in New York City, Future still had Ciara on his mind. But this time, he took issue with Ciara’s parenting. During Ciara and Wilson’s courtship, the couple have been seen out several times with Ciara and Future’s son, Future. Wilson has been seen pushing the baby stroller and more than likely spending a lot of time with the rapper’s son. And Future definitely has issues with this.
“If I was a kid, and my mama had some dude pushing me, I would’ve jumped out the stroller and slapped the s—t out of him. You never do that in our community; you’ve only known this dude for a few months and bring him around your son, who does that?” Future asked.
Future says that it’s not even necessary for Wilson to be around his son constantly because Ciara could have nannies or her assistants watch the child while they’re out on dates, and he’s not appreciative of his son being involved in “publicity stunts.”
And I kind of agree.
As a single parent, I make it known to men that they don’t have to worry about me introducing them to my son because more than likely it’ll never happen, especially if we’re just getting to know each other. Also, if we’ve gone from the dating stage to full-blown relationship, there’s no need for you to step in as a father figure. And it works both ways: I don’t want to meet your children, either. In the beginning stages of dating, I definitely agree with Future, but from Ciara’s subtweets about his parenting habits, maybe he needs to step up and father his child before someone else does.

Imagine if the relationship between Ciara and Wilson comes to a screeching halt and she moves on to the next man. Will she also bring that man around her son? Having a revolving door of people you’re dating and introducing them into your child’s life isn’t such a good idea. But then again, to each his or her own. And father your child.
