Vogue’s “73 Questions” series has given us insight into the habits and tastes of many of our faves, including Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan, Serena Williams and Tracee Ellis Ross. But the latest star is Tiffany Haddish, which catches the star before an appearance at Caroline’s Comedy Club in New York City.
While not as hilarious as we’d expect (we suspect Haddish was saving the comedy for her performance), she does drop a few gems—who knew she speaks a bit of Japanese? Or that Taylor Swift’s potato salad can actually be trusted? And then there’s her warmup routine, which consists of rapidly repeating “Baby daddy” and “child support.”
“Basically, I say all the things I don’t want really fast to trick the universe into giving me what I do want,” she tells Vogue’s camera.
So, what does Haddish—who says honesty is both her best and worst quality—want (other than Oprah, Michelle Obama and Jesus as dinner guests)? You’ve got 73 questions to find out.
