An American Airlines flight attendant with a commercial pilot's license took over for an ailing co-pilot. The co-pilot became ill on the flight from San Francisco to Chicago, so the first officer asked if there were any off-duty pilots on the plane. The flight attendant informed the first officer that she is licensed commercial pilot, so she filled-in for the ailing co-pilot. Sounds like something out of Die Hard V with a happy Hollywood ending.
