Two Georgia men were caught trying to get U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder’s tax refund, the Wall Street Journal reports.

Holder wasn’t the only person targeted by Yafait Tadesse and Eyaso Abebe, who somehow got a hold of Holder’s private information, including his Social Security number, and filed a tax return in his name.
According to the Journal, fraudulent income tax returns are an increasing problem, and one that Holder and the Department of Justice have been trying to fight.
“Identity theft affects people from all walks of life, from hardworking taxpayers trying to make ends meet to senior government officials,” said Sally Quillian Yates, U.S. attorney for Georgia’s Northern District.
The two men, who have since pleaded guilty, reportedly filled out returns listing all their victims as Wal-Mart employees with similar incomes. They actually received some of the refunds, but others were flagged. The one in Holder’s name was not paid out.
