Perhaps Fox News has forgotten that the full title of President Obama's book is Of Thee I Sing: A Letter to My Daughters. Otherwise they might think before running the headline "Obama Praises Indian Chief Who Killed U.S. General." Of course they're talking about Chief Sitting Bull, whose tribe defeated General George Custer in the Battle of the Little Big Horn in 1876. Apparently Fox is up in arms over celebrating someone who defended his territory successfully against the encroaching U.S. Army. Back to the book. The book highlights 13 historical figures who possess traits the president sees in his daughters, including Jane Addams, Helen Keller, Cesar Chavez and Maya Lin and Billie Holiday. Why Fox feels the need to weigh in and distort the facts is ridiculous. Is anyone critiquing the fact that children are taught to honor those like Custer and Robert E. Lee, who murdered mercilessly, and one of whom wanted to secede from the United States? AOL News' Andrea Stone hits the nail on the head when she ponders, ""Has anyone told President Barack Obama lately that he will never catch a break?" Not to worry — Of Thee I Sing will be on our bookshelves.
