Four More Officers Charged in Katrina Shooting Deaths on Danziger Bridge

Four more New Orleans police officers have been charged in the deadly shootings of two people in Hurricane Katrina's chaotic aftermath. Six current or former New Orleans officers have already pleaded guilty to helping cover up the murder of two men on the Danziger Bridge. Four other men were injured in the shootings. One of the murdered men, who was mentally disabled, was shot in the back and stomped on before he died. Talk about adding insult to injury — surviving Hurricane Katrina, only to be murdered and disposed of like trash by those who are supposed to serve and protect you.
