Information has been released about the $50 million sexual harassment lawsuit against former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes, and it's not quite shocking to read how Ailes allegedly felt about Stacey Dash and other women of color who worked for the network.
According to Andrea Tantaros’ lawsuit, Ailes routinely called Dash "the black girl" and called host Kimberly Guilfoyle a “Puerto Rican whore." Tantaros also alleged that Ailes said Harris Faulkner “has the tendency to look like the angry black woman."
In her lawsuit, Tantaros blames Ailes and show host Bill O'Reilly for making the workplace uncomfortable. Ailes resigned last month and declined a $40 million severance package.
Tantaros' lawsuit states, “Fox News masquerades as a defender of traditional family values, but behind the scenes, it operates like a sex-fueled, Playboy Mansion-like cult, steeped in intimidation, indecency and misogyny.”
There's no word yet about how Dash feels about being referred to as "the black girl." But something tells me she's probably OK with this.
