According to a little birdie that dished out the goods to TMZ Sports, the altercation between Sean "Diddy" Combs and UCLA strength-and-conditioning football coach Sal Alosi wasn't just a case of an overbearing dad overreacting after seeing a coach get a little rough with his son.
Sources told TMZ Sports that Alosi had been taunting Justin Combs about his privilege, claiming that Justin is a spoiled kid who got into UCLA's prestigious football program because of his famous last name.
"You're only here because of your dad," Alosi told Justin, according to TMZ Sports' sources. "You never belonged here."
That kind of "psychological warfare" reportedly got intense, TMZ said, with Alosi allegedly suggesting to Justin that he quit school and "just go work for your dad."
One incident happened in February, when Justin missed a practice and Alosi allegedly said that he was at the NBA All-Star Game with his dad, according to TMZ Sports.
Alosi allegedly hung a picture of Justin and Diddy at the game on gym monitors for everyone to see and told the football players, "While you guys are training, this guy is sitting courtside with his dad."
The photo is said to have remained on display for 24 hours, according to TMZ Sports.
TMZ Sports said it reached out to Alosi's reps at UCLA about the allegations but did not receive a reply.
If these allegations are true, this would provide more context for why Diddy may have flipped his lid after hearing about his son's treatment for months.
