On Monday, a Chick-fil-A restaurant in the River City neighborhood of Jacksonville, Fla., was trashed because two women were up in arms over a cold chicken-nugget meal that had been given to their brother.
Facebook user Allison Music witnessed the event and subsequently posted about it, commenting that she was waiting for the meal she ordered “a good 15 or 20 mins” when she saw a teenage boy arguing about his order with Chick-fil-A staff. She mentioned that the manager locked up the store in response to the altercation.
Two women approached the Chick-fil-A restaurant to further discuss their issue with the cold meal but had difficulty entering the locked building. Music wrote, “These females beat on the door trying to bust the glass and pull and jiggle the door handle till the door handle literally breaks off the door.”
According to Music, the two women finally entered and began “yelling and arguing” with the Chick-fil-A workers, who were already speaking with the police. The women can be heard arguing to receive a refund for their brother.
An employee can be heard telling the woman that their brother received a full refund, but an additional video shows one of the women continuing to knock food condiments and other items onto the ground. She also threw an object across the restaurant.
In her post, Music stated that the children in the Chick-fil-A were frightened by the altercation; they were “crying” because “they were so scared” by the events.
