Fla. Man Arrested in McDonald’s Shooting Over Food Order: Report

A Florida man has been arrested, accused of opening fire inside a local McDonald's after an argument with another man about his food order.

According to the Miami Herald, police arrested 23-year-old Devin Gibbs of Miami on Saturday in connection with the shooting inside the fast-food restaurant.

A witness told WSVN that the suspect and another man began arguing over an order.

They were "talking stupid to each other, then [the suspect] took out the gun and said, 'I'll kill you right now,' " Wilder Smith told WSVN.

According to the Herald, 65-year-old Ledea Phillip was shot in the left arm and taken to a local hospital, where he reportedly refused treatment.

"Gibbs has been charged by police with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and shooting into a building," the Herald reports.
