A Black woman is now facing prison time after she was seen fighting an entire family at a Miami IHOP.

The incident allegedly took place in June 2024, while Precious Williams and her family were enjoying a dinner at the popular pancake house. Tempers started to flare when one of Williams’ children claimed that a table sitting near them uttered a racial slur, according to NBC6 South Florida.

This led to Williams confronting a 14-year-old girl at the table who allegedly uttered the slur. Once the girl and the family denied the claims, Williams is seen on video going off on the teenager and fighting anyone in range who attempted to pull her away.

On Wednesday, Williams made her first appearance in court and attempted to support her claims by sharing the video of the incident. Matthew Goldkind, her attorney, said, “The video shows somebody putting their hands on my client Mrs. Williams, and then Mrs. Williams striking back.”

According to NBC 6 South Florida, prosecuting attorneys offered Williams a plea deal that would sentence her to one year of probation if she admitted to guilt. During that year, she would be required to participate in an anger management course, a parenting course, and follow a no-drink order.

Williams rejected the deal and said that she wanted to go to trial to prove her innocence. If she is found guilty, she could face five years in prison.
