Did you miss Ghost and Tommy and Tasha and the gang? (Not Kanan, though; no one misses Kanan.) I know I did. Well, they, and the hit Starz show Power, are all coming back on Sunday, July 1, at 9 p.m.
If you’re pumped for the upcoming season 5, be prepared to be even more pumped because the network has already renewed the hit series for a sixth season.
Everyone has their fave TV shows. Technically, mine is Game of Thrones, but Power—with its wild twists and turns, improbable situations and main characters who are unwilling to die even in the face of great odds (or great stupidity, in the case of Angela Valdez)—makes it thrilling to watch things unfold.
Thank you, creator and showrunner Courtney A. Kemp and, to a lesser extent, executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, for keeping this ball rolling. Jackson—of whom I’m only a fan in relation to this show and the 2002 song “Wanksta” and nothing else—is actually going to make his directorial debut on the season 6 premiere.
Don’t mess this up, Fiddy. I’m watching you.
