Ferguson protesters looking for justice in the death of unarmed teen Michael Brown clashed with St. Louis Rams fans outside the Edward Jones Dome Sunday evening after the Rams upset the visiting Seattle Seahawks.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, protesters were calling for the indictment of Officer Darren Wilson when several fans started chanting their support for the officer. One of the protesters, carrying an upside-down USA flag, used the flagpole to jab at protesters. A fan snagged the flag and the protesters wrestled it back.

Police told the Post-Dispatch that a 49-year-old woman and her 17-year-old daughter, who were not identified, were arrested and charged with varying degrees of assaults. The mother was charged with two counts of second-degree assault and one count of third-degree assault after she reportedly punched a 55-year-old woman in the eye. The alleged victim was treated on the scene.

The woman's daughter was " … booked on suspicion of two counts of third-degree assault. Police say she spit in the face of a man, 47, and then punched him in the eye," the Post-Dispatch notes. According to the newspaper, the 17-year-old also spit in the face of a 35-year-old man.

Police told the newspaper that there were some 20 to 25 people in each of the two groups involved in the incident.
