And we have lift-off! Fashion magazine Love decided to celebrate its 10th anniversary with two very special cover stars: Naomi Campbell and Adwoa Aboah. The 26-year-old Aboah and 48-year-old Campbell, both black Brits, represent two generations of supermodels—and the decade that the biannual magazine has been hitting newsstands.
The cover, photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, features the two beaming beauties nose-to-nose and nude, save for strategically-placed pink ribbons emblazoned with “love” and custom-made glittery black aviator caps bearing net-ensconced bouquets of red and black balloons with the magazine’s logo, created by British royal family milliner Stephen Jones, OBE.
The effect is pretty adorable—and, of course, very sexy. But our real takeaway? There is not a crack in sight on all this beautiful blackness, proving that when it comes to black beauty, the sky’s the limit. Happy 10th Birthday, Love!
The Glow Up tip: Love’s 10th anniversary issue premieres on August 6.
