Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is upset with his employees at Facebook’s Menlo Park, Calif., campus. It seems as though there’s a faction of Facebook employees who don’t believe that black lives matter, and they have been expressing their displeasure by crossing out anything regarding Black Lives Matter on the office walls.
The walls’ purpose at Facebook has always been to serve as an outlet for employees to voice their opinions and express themselves. But Zuckerberg is quite displeased with the actions of some of the employees, and said so on an internal memo:
Facebook, like many companies in Silicon Valley, isn’t the most diverse, so it’s not shocking that people are crossing out “Black Lives Matter.”
Zuckerberg says he’s going to investigate the instances and hopes that people will participate in Facebook’s upcoming town hall meeting about diversity.
