There are perks to having Cardi B’s number on your phone—one of which, apparently, is getting out of a possible traffic ticket.

That’s exactly what Offset says happened to him according to a tweet sent off early Monday morning.

“W H E N G O D S H O W S Y O U N O B I T C H C O M P A R E S !!!!!!! Just got let go on a pull over for a FaceTime pic with my wife (SHES THE BEST),” wrote the Migos rapper.

I’m reluctant to give props to the cops who let Offset go, because that honestly seems unfair as hell (Can I get out of a ticket if I pull out my Cardi B devotional candle from my glove compartment?). Also, homeboy barely escaped with his life a little more than a month ago after a horrific car accident (Cardi says he was swerving to avoid a “crackhead”).

On the other hand, a small part of me, the part of me that insists on chair-dancing to “I Like It” all summer 2018, doesn’t really blame the cops.

In either case, everything is turning up in Cardi B and Offset’s favor right now, and we’re happy to bathe in that energy. Cardi recently garnered her second No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 with “I Like It,” and a recent video celebrating the accomplishment shows a jubilant Cardi taking a quick moment to chastise Offset for his driving (Sir! You have precious cargo!).

The couple are eagerly anticipating the birth of their baby girl, who should be arriving in about a month. In the meantime, Cardi B is still in the studio and still keeping it extremely real.
