For Savannah James, there’s a lot of perks that come with being married to one of the greatest basketball players of all time. However, one major drawback is Christmas never belongs to your family. Whether he’s on the road, or at home, Christmas Day always revolves around LeBron James’ game day schedule.
This year, things were even more different as the four-time NBA Champion was joined on the road by his new teammate, son Bronny James. They traveled with the Los Angeles Lakers to San Francisco to take on the Golden State Warriors. The west coast matchup was an absolute banger that featured LeBron and Warriors superstar Steph Curry reigniting their legendary rivalry as the Lakers won 115-113.
Meanwhile, back at home, Savannah kept the holiday spirit going with an Instagram post of their other two children, Bryce and Zhuri, wearing matching pajamas and dancing to Ariana Grande’s “Sweetener.”
This is what she does for the family. Whether LeBron and Bronny are home or on the road, she makes sure the holiday is everything it needs to be. No matter what’s happening on Christmas Day, as far as Savannah is concerned, Santa will always be a top priority in the James house.
“I believe in Santa. I want my kids to believe in Santa till at least 10. Santa be thumping in my house. Santa is the GOAT at my house,” she said on her Everybody’s Crazy podcast.
It wasn’t just dancing with the kids that had people talking. The James family Christmas photo featured Savannah in a bonnet, which delighted some fans.
“It’s Savannah James in a bonnet and LeBron with a durag on in these Christmas pictures lol. So damn relaxed and real,” wrote one person on X.
As much as Savannah loves the holiday season, she’s also looking ahead to her big 2025 plans. She recently took to Instagram Stories to highlight all the spectacular places she’s traveled, and her top five destinations for 2025. Among the top spots on her list: Bali, Indonesia; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Singapore; Maui, Hawaii; and Marrakech, Morrocco.
We understand that Savannah James has almost unlimited resources to make her family comfortable as they follow LeBron and Bronny’s basketball careers. However, that doesn’t mean it’s easy, and it’s nice to see how she provides a little bit of normalcy on Christmas Day.
