Eagles Receiver DeSean Jackson’s Home Is Burglarized

Philadelphia Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson's home was robbed of cash, jewelry and a handgun, totaling some $250,000, ESPN reports. 

The burglary to Jackson's Philadelphia home happened while he was on vacation, and according to police reports viewed by ESPN, there was no sign of forced entry. Jackson's mother, who discovered the apparent burglary on Saturday morning, told police that some of Jackson's friends had access to the house, ESPN reports.

The Eagles top receiver is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to a conviction.

A statement released by a Jackson representative says that a small amount of money was taken. The statement also says Jackson is upset about the break-in but confident that police will find those responsible.

According to ESPN, Jackson signed a five-year, $51 million contract before the 2012 season.
