Musicians Drake, Roddy Ricch, and Megan Thee Stallion lead the nomination pack for the 2020 BET Awards, which is set to air live across ViacomCBS networks including BET, BET HER, and CBS on June 28 at 8 p.m. ET.

Drake is up for wins in six categories, including Male Hip-Hop Artist and Video of the Year (“No Guidance” with Chris Brown), while Hot Girl Meg and Roddy have five nods apiece. They could both win in the Album of the Year (Fever and Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial, respectively) and Video of the Year categories (for “Hot Girl Summer” and “The Box”). Additionally, Megan is up for Best Female Hip Hop Artist and Best Collaboration (“Hot Girl Summer” with Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign), and Roddy is up for Best Male Hip Hop Artist and Best New Artist.

Other big names up for awards this year include Beyoncé, Chris Brown, DaBaby, Lizzo and Nicki Minaj, who were all nominated in four categories each.

In May, the network announced they would still be moving forward with virtual programming for the BET Awards amidst the COVID-19 pandemic by “using an array of innovative techniques and artist-generated content,” which would “[allow] the audience to join in a celebration of black love, joy, pride and power with an all-star lineup.”
