Drake made surprise visits to the University of Miami and Miami Senior High School on Monday. The rapper-singer, who’s currently promoting his new single, “God’s Plan,” filmed portions of his visit and sprinkled a little do-good along the way.

Drake’s first stop was Miami Senior High, where he gave students an impromptu performance of “God’s Plan.” He performed atop a crane, which glided over the school’s baseball field. According to the Miami Herald, a drone flew overhead recording Drake and the students. The footage will be included in an upcoming video for the single.

Which makes sense, because lines like “She say ‘Do you love me?’ I tell her ‘only partly’/I only love my bed and my mom, I’m sorry” were made for adolescents’ Instagram captions.

Drake also gifted the school with a $25,000 check and said he would help design Miami Senior’s new school uniforms, the Herald reports.

But Drake wasn’t going home just yet. He also swung by the University of Miami to give another performance and to give a lucky student a scholarship.

The Miami Hurricane reports that the hip-hop star gave predentistry student Destiny James a $50,000 scholarship. While James couldn’t be reached for comment, a friend of hers, Milind Khurana, told the Hurricane that James is involved with United Black Students and is “one of the nicest people I know.”

Drake capped his visit to the U with another performance of “God’s Plan.”

“I’ll tell you one thing,” the Hurricane reports Drake saying at the end of his performance. “I’ve been to a lot of places in the world. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a more turnt school than this.”
