Unless he was kidding when he made this recent comment on C-SPAN, it sounds as if Michael Steele, the former — and first African-American — chairman of the Republican National Committee wouldn't rule out running for the position again.
Steele, who held the position even before every conversation about the GOP had to do with how it should respond to America's changing demographics, said, "It's not a bad idea. I can go shake up the house a little bit more; what do you think?" when asked if he would consider a run.
So, when would he make an announcement? "Oh, I've got time for that," Steele said. Stay tuned.
