The floodgates have opened on Sean “Diddy” Combs since leaked surveillance security footage showed him brutally hitting, throwing, and kicking Cassie Ventura at a Los Angeles hotel.

People who used to be close friends or acquaintances of the Bad Boy Records founder are now coming out of the woodwork to share the things they allegedly saw Diddy do to Cassie Ventura and Kim Porter.

On Monday, during an interview with Piers Morgan, Diddy’s former head of security Roger Bonds claimed that he saw the Hip-Hop mogul be violent toward women multiple times and described him as a “king manipulator.”

“There was one time that she [Cassie] mentioned inside her lawsuit where she said she had to go over to the London hotel. I was the one that was checking on her every day at the London hotel,” Bond said.

He continued, “I saw them get into some rustling and punching matches.”

Bond also described Diddy’s relationship with model Kim Porter, saying, “I seen him inside the car grab her up. I seen him smack her, you know and one thing about Kim is that she got to the point where she fought back because she realized how powerful she was.”

On Tuesday, during an interview with Extra, Mylah Morales, a makeup artist who used to work for Diddy and Ventura, claimed that she saw signs of abusive behavior from Combs.

Morales opened up about his personality: “We were always scared of Puff. He’s a powerful person and we don’t know what would happen to us if we spoke out.”

When asked if she was aware of any physical abuse, Morales recounted an incident more than a decade ago when she suspected Diddy assaulted Ventura during Grammy weekend.

“All I witnessed was him walking into the room and saying, ‘Where the f**k is she?’ and I didn’t know what was going on,” said Morales. “I was like, ‘I just woke up from a slumber,’ and next thing you know, all I hear from the bedroom was just sh*t. I don’t want to go back and think about it.”

She continued, “I did not know what was going on, all I could think of was to get her out of there.”

Although she did not see it with her own two eyes, Morales later added that she saw Ventura “badly bruised” with “knots on her head.”

Why wait until now?

While it’s good to see that people are now coming out to give even more credence to Ventura’s previous lawsuit and claims about Diddy, it may be too little, too late.

Speaking out about it now is not doing as much good. How about helping these women in the moment when they witnessed the abuse and its effects firsthand? What about voicing support for Ventura when she filed her lawsuit in November 2023?

Those are the moments where she needed real support and it’s unfortunate that nobody was there to help or stand beside her when she really needed it.
