On what would’ve been the 48th birthday of model and actress Kim Porter, Diddy took to social media this morning to wish a happy birthday to the woman he remembers as “more than a soulmate”.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIM!!!” he wrote on Instagram, “We miss you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooSoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo MUCH.”
Hours later, he dropped another tribute honoring the mother of three of his children.
“Happy Birthday Kim,” he wrote this time. “We love you and we miss you. #KimPorterDay”
And on Twitter, others followed suit:
Porter died on Nov. 15 at her home in Los Angeles. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
Diddy and Porter dated on and off from 1994 until 2007 and have three children together: son Christian, 20, who raps under the moniker King Combs, and twin daughters D’Lila Star and Jessie James, who turn 12 later this month.
In the immediately aftermath of her death, Diddy took to Instagram to grieve publicly.
“For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t,” he wrote. “I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much.”
She’s also the mother of actor Quincy Brown, 27, from her relationship with Al B. Sure!
So today, we join Diddy and the rest of her family in celebrating her life and legacy. Happy Birthday Kim!
