Diddy Raids Could Be Related To Tupac Shakur Murder, Says Ex-FBI Agent

Phil Carson, a retired head of the Los Angeles FBI office, spoke to Daily Mail about the connection.

The federal raids of Sean โ€œDiddyโ€ Combsโ€™ L.A. and Miami homes may be connected to the 1996 fatal shooting of Tupac Shakur, according to a retired head of the Los Angeles FBI office.

Phil Carson believes that information backing search warrants that led to the raids could have come from Shakur murder suspect Duane โ€œKeefe Dโ€ Davis, who was charged last year. The ex-agent spent years examining police corruption related to the deaths of Shakur and Christopher โ€œThe Notorious B.I.G.โ€ Wallace.

In an interview with Daily Mail, Carson referenced Davisโ€™s 2023 arrest after he confessed to being involved with Shakurโ€™s murder. Davis insisted it was a $1 million hit that came directly through Combs, though the Hip-Hop mogul has denied it.

Carson explained:

โ€œItโ€™s not like the olden days of the Italian mafia where everybody kept their mouth shut. As soon as somebody has handcuffs on them, theyโ€™ll sell out their own mom now. Keefeโ€™s arrested, and thatโ€™s a game-changer, because they have something over him. And thatโ€™s when he may start spilling his guts. Heโ€™s an OG from out here. Heโ€™s rubbed shoulders with a lot of the big shots. Every one of those guys has a story to tell about how the streets were run back then.โ€

Carson added: โ€œThatโ€™s not to say itโ€™s the reason federal law enforcement executed these warrants on Diddyโ€™s house. But it would be interesting to know what the evidence is, and where that evidence came from, that they put in these affidavits to get both these search warrants.โ€

The former agent is seemingly correct in his assessment: There likely had to be substantial evidence against Combsย for Homeland Security agents to storm the mansions. However, the raids were allegedly tied to a sex trafficking investigation and thereโ€™s no official connection between the raids and Shakurโ€™s murder

Four women have filed lawsuits against Combs for sexual assault.
