The outpouring of love for late model and actress Kim Porter continued over the weekend, with the people who were closest to her—her family—breaking their silence over her devastating and sudden death.

Among them was Diddy, her boyfriend of 13 years with whom she had three children. On Sunday night, Diddy posted a series of tributes to her on his Instagram account, including a video of the couple while they did a maternity photo shoot in 2006 for Essence Magazine, according to TMZ.

“For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t,” Diddy wrote in the caption to the video:

I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER SHIT!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love.

The intimate video, which shows the pair embracing, kissing and dancing for the cameras, also features Porter speaking on her and Diddy’s relationship.

“I’m thrilled that [Essence is] displaying black love, you know we don’t get a chance to see too much of that,” Porter says.

“And we definitely demonstrate that,” she added.

Porter’s family also began sharing their tributes to the beloved mother, friend, and co-parent.

Quincy Brown, Porter’s eldest son, posted an image of himself, Porter, and his two younger twin sisters, D’Lila and Jessie James.

“I am broken...& the only thing that makes sense right now is that you were way too good for this silly world we live in. I love you so much MOMMY. Please give Mee-Maw the biggest hug and kiss for me,” he wrote.

Porter’s ex, Al B. Sure, also shared a photo of him and Porter, captioning it with the hashtag #ForeverMyLady, a reference to the song he penned for her.

But the messages that may tell us the most about who Porter was—the sort of life she lived and the values she embodied—may have come from Misa Hylton, who bore Diddy’s son, Justin Combs.

“For the last 20 years we have raised our children together, my mind cannot begin to wrap around the fact that you are not going to be here,” wrote Hylton on Instagram. “Thank you for being a 2nd mother to Justin and for loving Niko and Madison just the same. This is one of the most shocking and painful experiences that I have ever been through. A devastating loss to our family.”

Justin echoed his mother’s words:

I just don’t understand. The other day we were all together dancing & celebrating! My second mother, thank you for loving & accepting me as one of your own I will forever cherish all the special moments and talks we had together please stay close with us and let us hear your voice to guide us.

Both vowed to be there for Porter’s children, just as Porter was there for them.

Porter was found dead at her home on Thursday. TMZ reported she had been fighting pneumonia for several weeks before her death. Porter’s grandmother, Lila Mae Star, told WVTM-TV she spoke with Porter the day before she died.

“She told me she felt better and that the doctor had been to her house and he gave her an antibiotic,” she said.
