Remember that guy who claimed to have seen a few of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex tapes? Well, he’s in deep ish now, facing a lawsuit filed by the rapper from behind bars as he faces his pending sex crime case.

Courtney Burgess previously went on NewsNation with attorney Ariel Mitchell to explain he was contacted to give testimony on striking information on the rapper by the Department of Homeland Security. He testified that he saw eight of Combs’ alleged sex tapes. Burgess claims eight celebrities — two women and six men — are in the tape and participated in sexual acts.

Burgess claimed that two or three of the individuals appeared to be minors. He said all of them also appeared to be under the influence. He also  characterized them to be victims.

However, in a $50 million lawsuit, Combs claims the entire story was a bunch of “deliberately fabricated and amplified false claims.” The suit accuses Burgess of giving false information about the rapper for money and accused NewsNation for even broadcasting the claims without investigating or contacting Combs’ counsel.

Combs’ suit also says Burgess’ claim of possessing sex tape videos was a “knowingly blatant falsehood or recklessly false statement.” However, Burgess never claimed to have the videos in his own possession. The suit also clapped back at attorney Mitchell, citing the multiple lawsuits she’s said to be bringing against the rapper.

“To date, even though Mitchell has not served either of those lawsuits, she has spoken about them extensively to the media,” the lawsuit reads.

The suit also says the attorney “falsely stated” that videos of Combs in intimate settings with other celebrities are circulating Hollywood, called her out for suggesting people were unknowingly recorded by Combs’ in his home and ultimately dragged her and her client for “profiting” from putting themselves in the media at Combs’ expense.

“[The] Defendants made these false and defamatory statements in bad faith, as part of a deliberate effort to damage Mr. Combs’s reputation, undermine his business and, by painting him as debauched and a pedophile, to poison the public’s perception of him and deprive him of a fair trial,” Combs’ legal team alleges.

This is the first time in a while Combs has clapped back at the ever-growing pile of allegations against him. Tony Buzbee said in an Oct. 1 press conference that he’s representing 120 individuals — men and women — who claimed to have been drugged, sexually assaulted, raped or threatened by Combs. Some alleged victims claimed to be minors at the time of the incidents.

Many of the suits, filed since 2023, have been civil. However, Combs faces criminal charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and engaging in interstate transportation for prostitution in federal court. He has pleaded not guilty, and was denied bail.
