Someone literally has his underwear in a bunch, and now he’s caught the ire of 50 Cent on social media and a lawsuit from a men’s-underwear company.

According to the New York Post, Derek Jeter is being sued by underwear brand Frigo because he pulled out of an endorsement deal that also involved 50 Cent. According to the lawsuit, the company is claiming that Jeter pulled out because 50 Cent is too “urban.”

RevolutionWear CEO Mathias Ingvarsson says the company lost $30 million when Jeter backed out of endorsing Frigo, and the company is now looking for $4.7 million in damages.

What the lawsuit alleges apparently isn’t sitting well with 50 Cent, and the rapper posted an Instagram photo of Jeter Wednesday.

It’s interesting that Jeter reportedly thinks 50 Cent is too urban when the rapper has been the face of so many other companies in the past. I would hope that Jeter’s alleged version of “urban” doesn’t actually mean “too black.” Because you know how some people like to throw around coded language.

50 Cent was joined by Carmelo Anthony and Timbaland as ambassadors to the brand, and according to Adam Handelsman, the man who launched the products, working with the three men was “an incredible experience.”
