For those of you who have been wanting to find out what happens with Sam, Troy, Coco, Lionel, Gabe, Joelle, Reggie and their fellow students at Winchester University, your wait is almost over. Dear White People returns May 4 for its second season on Netflix.

Based on the highly acclaimed 2014 film of the same name, Dear White People is a satirical series that continues to follow the lives of a group of millennial black students at a fictitious, predominantly white Ivy League university as they experience social injustice, cultural bias, political correctness (or lack thereof) and activism.

Racial tensions bubble just below the surface at Winchester, and the show holds a mirror up to the issues that plague society today, giving us biting commentary, brutal honesty, self-deprecation and a healthy dose of irony—all while providing us laughs along the way.

Dear White People stars Logan Browning (Sam), Brandon P. Bell (Troy), Antoinette Robertson (Coco), DeRon Horton (Lionel), John Patrick Amedori (Gabe), Ashley Blaine Featherson (Joelle) and Marque Richardson (Reggie).
