Affinitive in New York City is seeking a social media analytics associate. The position will be responsible for supporting clients and account teams by collecting consumer-engagement data and providing quantitative and qualitative analysis, as well as key actionable insights.
Other duties include supporting the establishment of program and campaign benchmarks; conducting social listening monitoring and analysis using tools such as Radian6; and working with account teams to conduct market research and with the technology team to help improve proprietary reporting platforms. The social media analytics associate will also contribute to the company's thought leadership through articles, white papers and blog posts.
The ideal candidate will have one to three years' experience in an analyst role for Web, digital and/or social media and should have previously worked using social media research and analysis tools such as Radian6, Cymfony, Facebook Insights and so on. He or she should be proficient in Excel and should be quick and accurate when working with data. Candidates who are organized, analytical, self-directed, flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, and who have a strong interest in the media industry and consumer marketing strategies, are preferred.
