The Union for Concerned Scientists in Washington, D.C., is looking for a scientific integrity analyst to help the organization improve the public's knowledge of its objectives, as well as to ensure that the organization's objectives are being met while conforming to government and public policy.
The UCS's scientific integrity analyst will devise and implement research projects that will help achieve the above goals while also keeping abreast of ongoing public-policy debates and legislative initiatives that deal with the organization's mission to advance legislative protection and safeguards for the environment and different scientific fields.
Ideal candidates should have a degree in a science field, applied sciences or social sciences, as well as experience with and understanding of science-related legislation and policies. Candidates should also have experience with analyzing large amounts of data and should be able to communicate well with a diverse audience.
