San Francisco firm the Trust for Public Land is currently seeking a California director of philanthropy to help manage the organization's philanthropic endeavors, including the implementation of projects to increase donations. The director of philanthropy will work closely with the Trust for Public Land's marketing staff to create initiatives and campaigns that will help spur donations and lure prospective donors to the organization.
The Trust for Public Land advocates for the preservation of "the more than 350,000 acres of [public] land" in California, including wildlife preserves, parks and more. Ideal candidates should have some experience in campaign development or marketing, as well as a general interest in the preservation of public spaces.
