Are you all about "going green"? Do you get a kick out of planning events? Ceres, an environmental-sustainability organization in Boston, is seeking a coordinator for its investor program. The position entails assisting the company in its work with investors on sustainability issues and providing support in coordinating efforts with investors who are looking to improve corporate practices on climate change, resource scarcity and clean energy.
Responsibilities for this position involve assisting with the planning and coordination of the Ceres annual conference and investor-program events; supporting the director by organizing the investor-program team's activities, weekly team meetings and other internal meetings; and assisting the company with investor outreach. Other duties include writing content for the website, newsletter, press releases and other publications and providing administrative support including coordinating calls, assisting with fundraising and tracking results.
All applicants must have a bachelor's degree in a related field, and at least one year of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate must possess knowledge of energy, climate-change and sustainability issues and must have a successful record of organizing multiple projects.
