Some who wondered why Rihanna would have anything to do with Chris Brown after he beat her to a pulp played armchair psychologist, speculating about whether "daddy issues" might have something to do with that seemingly self-defeating decision. After reading about the most recent interview with her father, Ronald Fenty, in the upcoming issue of Heat magazine, we're going to have to go with yes.
His thoughts on Brown: "Chris is a nice guy and everyone is entitled to make a mistake in their life — God knows how many I've made. She's her own woman now."
And on his daughter's weight: He "actually thought she was a little fat the last time I saw her." But at the Grammys, he "thought she was back to her normal size. I used to joke with her, 'Robyn, you're getting too fat!' " he said. "But I think she's fine; I think she looked excellent, as everyone saw."
