Clint Pierce of Florida's Pompano Beach Fire Rescue Department was evidently unhappy about election results that meant President Obama would keep his job for four more years. But when Pierce decided to express that sentiment by stocking the firehouse with toilet paper decorated with the president's face, the 20-year veteran of the force succeeded only in ending his own career.
Fire Chief Harry L. Small called the incident "tasteless and disrespectful" and made the "insubordinate" employee's termination public late last month. Hope the prank was worth it.
