On Monday evening, the Associated Press released portions of Bill Cosby's deposition during his previous civil case from 2005-2006 that involved Andrea Constand. The depositions revealed that not only did he have sex with teenage girls, but he was also aided by the modeling agency that sent him "five or six" models to his studio each week when he was filming a sitcom.
In the deposition, portions of which appear below, Cosby stated that the teen actresses were given a "very, very good meal." He even described one sexual encounter with a 17-year-old that occurred in 2000:
Q: She says that just days after … she told you that she did not drink, you told her to come over to [your townhouse] and served her amaretto. Do you recall serving her amaretto?
A: No.
Q: That you told her to sit next to you on the couch and that you put your arm around her and began massaging her shoulder and arms suggestively. Did that occur? … This occurred sometime after you met her parents.
A: I need clarification on time.
Q: She's 17 and I believe throughout the time she knows you she becomes 18 or 19.
Q: On a later occasion you had her masturbate you with lotion. Did that ever happen?
A: Yes.
Another incident, which occurred in 1976, involved giving a then-19-year-old Therese Serignese Quaaludes during their alleged consensual sexual encounter. He also used the agency the young women were both assigned to as a cover and paid them off so that his wife, Camille Cosby, would not find out, according to the deposition excerpts, AP reports.
All of this information was released on the eve of Cosby's preliminary hearing in his criminal case, which is set to occur Tuesday in Norristown, Pa., on charges stemming from the alleged drugging and rape of Constand, a former Temple University employee, in 2004.
