Nicki Minaj continues to embarrass herself on social media following her feud with Megan Thee Stallion. All week, the “Pink Friday 2" emcee has been running her mouth online, with gross jabs being thrown mostly at Meg following the release of the song “Hiss.”
Sadly, Minaj couldn’t just stop at her travesty of a diss song “Bigfoot.” To the shock of her fans, she used her platform to endorse Tom MacDonald’s song “Facts” which features right-wing commentator Ben Shapiro.
Not only is the song absolute garbage, it uses a Black genre of music to disparage Black people—the hypocrisy is truly alarming. “Facts” complains about the Black Lives Matter movement, woke Karens, the LGBTQ+ community and efforts to defund the police.
When “Facts” was first release, Minaj went on X to praise the song. “I just listened to it @benshapiro not bad,” Minaj wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Congrats on #1. But it def sounds like Roman’s Revenge when the beat first came in…idk.”
As if that wasn’t bad enough, on Feb. 1 she complimented the song again. “Wait til they ‘wake up’ & listen to what Ben Shapiro is saying in #Facts. The ‘outrage’ on this one will be a tad bit delayed,” Minaj stated. Shapiro’s reply was him begging for a Grammys invite (the ceremony is happening in LA on Sunday).
“Yo, @NICKIMINAJ, bestselling rapper in the world can’t get an invitation to the Grammys. Can you hook a homie up?” he asked. A user brilliantly summed up this disgusting exchange by asking Nicki: “The same man who disrespected you and your music for years? The same man who also hates illegal immigrants?
“You can’t be serious nicki, this man stands against your whole being as a black woman who had to come here illegally as a child.” Folks have speculated that Minaj is doing this to prevent Megan’s “Hiss” from continue to top the charts. However, this is way to far—even by Barbz’s standards.
